Amazing Grace (Gwen Bartley) is an amazing group of advocates to have on your side. The knowledge and skills of this team are truly like nothing else I have experienced. I am always getting emails, ideas, webinars, group discussions and other community opportunities I would never have known about. They cater to the issues that we are struggling with as a family. I sent my son to their camp this summer, and he had an awesome day! He also saw other kids struggling and to know you are not alone in the struggle… is everything for my son. I am an Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in NC and I work with young children and their families, however, I can’t say enough about why it is so important for every parent to have a program like this supporting you. In IEPs and 504s, you just can’t think of all the possibilities as the parent, because it’s YOUR child! Having another person there to support, offer ideas, help remind me to bring up issues I forgot to mention, and to help wrap my brain around the long discussion is truly immeasurable!

Camps like those provided by Amazing Grace are invaluable to families such as ours where options are few and far between. Parent/Youth support group that's offered, helps families to discuss their concerns with other families going through similar situations. I don't know where we would be without Amazing Grace and Gwen. -parents of a child recently discharged from a PRTF
As a professional that advocates for families on a regular basis, it was not even fathomed that there could be a group to help me with the years of struggling with the school to help me with the needs of my child And then came Gwen. She was a total godsend. I wish I would have found her five years ago when my child was in Kindergarten (or even in preschool). She helped me locate a school that could easily accommodate the needs of my child. He had his best progress report ever! -parent of a child with Anxiety and ADHD
